Scripture
~ Holy Scripture ~

When you read the following Scipture passages you will see that the acts of these orthodox clergy go against Holy Scripture.

a title above this verse in the Scofield Study Bible reads; Test of true religion

1:26 - If anyone among you* thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this ones religion is useless.
1:27 - Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphan and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself spotted from the world.

[*1:26,27 - religious...religion. That is, one who is outwardly religious. See Gal. 1:14, note.]

The next verses are titled "Test of brotherly love"
